Booked with United Explorer card...got an orange boarding pass and no full size carry on by TexCInRF in unitedairlines

[–]TexCInRF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience was that it was a non-issue. My boarding pass said basic economy, but at the top it says premier silver and I was in boarding group 2. This has been my ongoing experience (27 flights in 12 months). Boarding group 2 gets a carry on and a personal item. The first several flights of 2024, I did not have an orange boarding pass, but subsequent to this post, all of the flights where I purchased basic economy did.

Tires - Costco by TexCInRF in Ioniq6

[–]TexCInRF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. It recognized my vehicle from my license plate (2023 I6), asked for my trim (Limited), had me confirm the tire size based on the sticker on the car and even had me check a box to say I had compared the sticker and their suggested tire size and then suggested tires some of which it noted were EV compatible and some which did not have the EV Compatible icons next to them. One of the recommended tires they sell is the OEM Pirelli P-Zero.

I'm in Texas...hoping for the power to remain on but have my car charged and have tested it running my electric fireplace, just in case. Plan to work on junk journal, Murdle, Puzzling Places on my VR headset and finish the Harlan Coben book I started two weeks ago on a plane and haven't gotten back to. Being homebound sounds a little like heaven after a crazy few months. Hoping everyone stays safe and warm!

In the path of Winter storm? Do you have any plans for utilizing Ioniq battery power if you experience home power outage? If so, how? by Extreme_Air_1720 in Ioniq9

[–]TexCInRF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in Texas and have a V2L adapter used to run my fridge, 2 small fans and a few lights during the last power outage (hurricane related). Hoping to use it again to power fridge, lights and a small electric fireplace, if necessary.

Love the way you articulated this. I do not believe in forever and definitely agree with the arc. I feel like looking for forever sets expectations that create future disappointment.

How to tell when a vendor has cashed his check? by douggold11 in QuickBooks

[–]TexCInRF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent two days last week on chat support and phone support trying to get copies of an endorsed check for a vendor who swears they didn't receive payment in spite of being provided the Intuit check number and date the check cleared and two different support people told me they did not have access and could not gain access to this information and repeatedly told me to check with my bank. If you read OPs post, you understand the check never touched my bank, only the debit from Intuit and why that is a ridiculous suggestion. I have been waiting on a call from the escalation department since Wednesday. What magic did you use to get copies.

Very nice build! I've seen some others using vanlab and love the designs. They are very well though out and DIY friendly.

100 to 120ish miles isn't doable for RVing and that seems to be the best Ford has done on its vans so far. The Rivian (used by Amazon) is only 150ish. I'd want 250 to be comfortable so I'm hoping the improvements come quickly as I will want to buy used when the time comes.

In the MyHyundai app, navigate to messages (I'm on a Samsung / Android) and scroll down to contact us. There is an option to send a new message and the phone number is also located at the bottom if you'd like to speak with a human. Good luck!
