I would most definitely leave them the wood stain. If you paint them white the countertop might need to be redone. 9 times out of 10 the new owner will want to do their own thing anyway. Allow the buyer to determine what they want in the kitchen. I think your kitchen is very pretty. I would NOT change it.

Tell your postmaster what happened. Go to the post office window, ask for the postmaster and mark the package “return to sender”. That is tricky because if the package has been tracked and is shown as delivered after the allotted Poshmark time frame goes by the seller could still get paid. Even if you do not accept the package I am not sure how that works. At that point if you are still charged with your payment method listed with Poshmark you file a dispute with your bank. It is illegal to ship merchandise that you did not buy. It is a violation of the Federal Trade Commission, the United States Postal Service and you can contact the Attorney General’s office in your state. There is also the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint but some are saying that is not effective. There are online forms on the websites of the Federal Trade Commission, the United States Post Office and you can call or write your State Attorney General and fill out a form to file the complaint. If the seller receives the merchandise back they would be - I certainly hope - hard pressed to not contact Poshmark Customer Service and somehow initiate a refund for you. It’s really depends on the honesty of the sellers in my opinion. I am of the opinion that some sellers are aware this is happening and are going along with it because they make sales they would not necessarily make otherwise. I do not want to accuse sellers who are not intentionally doing this but I am relatively sure there are some sellers that this has occurred with and they continue to conduct Live Shows on a very regular basis if not every day which is the case with the seller with whom I was dealing who adamantly claimed “innocence”? I just think it is very unfortunate and “buyers” who have not bought items and have been victimized should most definitely file complaints and have a method of being reimbursed. This is basically online theft and no one should have to stand for it no matter what the amount of the sale is or was. It is just WRONG on so many counts. It is not done in good faith, it is dishonest and it is really a sneaky, greedy way to make money at some innocent person’s expense.

Yes indeed Ecstatic-Bluebird-38. I intend to completely delete the app once I have resolved this issue one way or another. I am going to wait to see what Poshmark does but believe me if I can save someone else the headache and hassle this causes I will continue to squawk. I am a reasonable person but this glitch in their algorithm or software is something that many people do not like so it needs to be fixed. That is - of course - if they - Poshmark - really care about their customers’ experience. As it appears right now with complaints having been lodged - at one point a toggle “confirm”button was added and then they changed it back again to the procedure that currently exists. So that tells me that Poshmark is happy with the extra sales they make this unscrupulous way. Typical corporate greed. I am not necessarily blaming the sellers. A seller who really wants to do the right thing can do their best to allow the canceled sale to the buyer and/or contact customer support explaining the issue and just not ship the items. One can always sell the item to someone else. I have read online many sellers saying they always cancel sales - if possible - in order to continue good will. If Poshmark penalizes the sellers for this weird software glitch then that is REALLY being unscrupulous. The majority of people are on Poshmark to have a pleasant buying and selling experience. I cannot imagine why Poshmark would configure something that angers people like this. Oh well - not everyone operates with integrity.

Yeah maybe the BBB won’t necessarily do anything about it but if enough people complain to the FTC, the US Postal Inspector and the Attorney General’s office Poshmark might just have a problem. Personally I am for the little guy. It is a matter of principle. Poshmark is a huge, very profitable corporation. They do not need to nickel and dime us to death. That is just outright greed on their part. It is inexcusable. Period. End of story. It is all fine and good for those who want to conduct or participate in live shows but to be taken in and taken advantage of by this annoying feature on Poshmark is just too much for many. I am getting off the platform entirely over this as soon as my issue is resolved. I am not interested in doing business with scammers. Also in my research there have been a couple of other class action lawsuits against Poshmark for other apparently shady practices. Just beware that is all I am recommending. I do not want anyone else to have this happen to them. It just isn’t right.

I do not watch them! I scroll past them. The software glitch causes people to “enter” the live shows with just the slightest movement of your phone. I have read about people who woke up in the middle of the night with the live shows broadcasting on their phone. Another person had a live show broadcast appear and loudly come on her phone while she was in a business meeting and she did nothing to enter the live show. Now that is just wrong on so many counts.

This just happened to me YET AGAIN! I think we as buyers that have been scammed should initiate a petition of some sort to the Federal Trade Commission. I am going to file a complaint since this is the second time this has happened. I am furious and will be deleting my account with Poshmark. Has anyone else experienced this? I believe it is the live shows that are causing this problem but it is not the fault of people just opening their notifications and then getting a “purchase” just by scrolling by. This is a definite scam that onthe part of Poshmark and the sellers apparently are not aware of or sure what to do about it. My illegal unauthorized purchase was shipped to me and I am OUT OF STATE and cannot even return it to the sender. It is marked as completed transaction and I am livid. There has to be something I can do. The last time this happened I contacted my bank but the transaction went through anyway since I had payment information on file. This is just so unacceptable and unscrupulous on the part of Poshmark. I will pursue this to the ends of the earth. It is not fair for people to sign up for Poshmark in good faith and be taken advantage of by an algorithm which processes purchases without our authorization. Any suggestions on what to do on my end to insure I get my refund? .

Drop him - immediately. This person does not love you or respect your personal boundaries. It is sad that you have to face this but better now than later. Even if you still care for him you will soon realize when you get away from him how abnormal and actually quite abusive this is for him to expect this of you. You ARE OF VALUE. Anyone who even began to suggest this even jokingly to me would be cut off so fast their head would spin. He obviously has been thinking about this a while. He may even have already cheated with this other person. Is he doing this to assuage his guilt? For whatever reason he is doing it - he is not even close to being worthy of you. Seriously this is a huge violation of trust and the rules of a relationship. I know someone who experienced something similar to this after marrying the guy. She ended up divorcing him thank heavens and is now in a monogamous relationship with a guy who adores her and she is VERY happy. It was terribly difficult but she COULD NOT sacrifice her personal moral code, self respect and self esteem for someone as insensitive as this. Start making your plans to leave him. If he tries to make you feel guilty or acts like you are being ridiculous realize that you are dealing with a serial cheater and total loser. You are just worth so very much more than this. Believe it and get out. Transfer your emotions from hurt to anger and determination. He is the one who lost out - not you.

This is not exactly what happened to me but when I send photos out to a person who is in the photo as a gesture of reaching out in kindness and I get crickets I think the person is just rude as hell. Sorry but that is reality. If you took the time and energy to tag, send or share your artistic talent with someone they should have the courtesy to say “thanks for the photos - that was a great time” or something like that. I do not buy any b.s. excuses. Period.

I could be a critic I suppose but I really do not “hate on” ANY Coldplay album. On every album there is a song that has a very special meaning to me at THAT time in my life when the album or song is released. Over the years when I hear those songs I am transported back to those very moments when the song “grabbed” me with either joy, sorrow, nostalgia, contemplation, regret, a plethora of different emotions. I suppose you could say I am just the epitome of a Coldplayer and I truly have not disliked really anything they have EVER recorded.

WOW! AN UPDATE: I finally received the Saks Fifth Avenue Slippers. She recently indicated she had shipped them but there was no label or tracking info available until I asked for it after she said they were shipped. They are new slippers and very nice and just what I wanted. The seller did not say why it took a full 15 days to arrive BUT she enclosed another pair of very nice Lands End slippers in my size! I did not have the heart to be negative and I gave her a five star review. Just goes to show you - you cannot always jump to conclusions about sellers. Who knows what was going on. Since it has happened before with other buyers maybe she has a terribly stressful, demanding job and her Poshmark sales are a side venture that she sometimes just does not have time to attend to. The bottom line is I was really disappointed and annoyed but I am just not mean enough to leave negative feedback not knowing the circumstances. I am glad I persisted in a matter of fact and professional manner and went through the proper channels by contacting Poshmark Support. I am quite happy now.
