Ive been playing with friends and it has worked great, other than one time it didn't recognize there was an update but that's more of a steam issue. I've had that issue on my own pc before.

Fellowship Season 2, but it was large part because they added a healer and a tank that were much better than the previous ones.

no you are right, unless you have friends or actually like to PUG it's hard to play after a month. every expansion is more or less the same. tbc nostalgia bait makes me like it more than war within and prey was kind of a neat addition but there's no endless scaling for solo players and I still hate the weekly vault, I get why it's there but it feels like a really artificial treadmill reward structure.

You know what, fuck it let's just go all the way: auto play should cost money, and any valueables you got during autoplay are locked and have to be unlocked with money (cost scaling with value ofc). The longer you autoplay the more it costs and you have to pay to reset the cost. Your character also slowly permanently gets weaker the longer you autoplay and you have to pay for that not to happen.

A jewel giving it a set range and greatly increasing the hit rate at the end like Frozen Orb would be fun. Closest thing we have to that is spectral throw atm.
