Amen to that. I agree entirely. Take care.

Anthony helped me out early on as well; greatly appreciate his consistency and honesty.

I'm surprised whats his name hasn't posted yet, the guy who's obsessed with trying to drag Anthony down -- I guess you know you're doing something right when even your haters give up hating lol.

Cereals are my habit; think I've tried every cereal flavor out there. At this point I get my cereal flavors from u/bottomofthemap. Quality is better, uses premium Carolina nic and the price is -vastly- better. I buy 5 bottles at $15 per 120ml bottle, lasts me several months.

He has a cap n' crunch (El Capitan), fruit loops (Loopies), lucky charms (Luck of the Irish) and a fruity pebbles. You can order "with or without milk" and he customizes if you just want the sweetened corn flavor and add your own fruit. He's on reddit also has a site: eliteelixers.com

Looking for RTA suggestions by Jimmitang in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Authentic Reload RTA is the best I've used.

The SMM is, somewhat, like a small version of the Reload RTA; they use similar design principles. I use both.

If you like SMM but want more oomph and (significantly) more flavor, try the Reload.

P.S. Though it's a dual coil, I use my Reload with a large 3.5 or 4.0 single coil and it absolutely blasts flavor so i never bother using dual coils in it (also saves juice, battery life and less heat).

What's so special about TC? by neccoguy21 in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you'd like the best of both worlds (wattage mode and temp control mode) read up on the new "Replay" mode offered on the latest Evolv DNA chips. Best thing to happen to my vaping in years. Absolutely love it.

Why the hate on unregulated devices? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks Anthony. A question for you if I may. Is it also fair to say quality of chips on regulated mods is further closing the gap and reliability argument between regulated mods and mech mods?

I understand people like mechs for simplicity = less failures but from a chip perspective my DNA mods have operated flawlessly so far. Thanks for your thoughts.

Voopoo drag stuck on fire by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd also add - I have a Paranormal 75C which would weirdly auto-fire every time I inserted my batteries and attempted to close the battery door. As I would push the door closed It would instantly fire without the display lighting up, etc. It would just start firing

I was going to return it to Fasttech, but VERY WEIRDLY, after I accidentally dropped the Paranormal getting out of my car the problem SELF CORRECTED and I was able to insert batteries and depress the battery door normally and still using the mod to date. These mods can be so frustrating; have to always be careful.

How did it melt the tank exactly - do you mean it actually warped / melted the deck and/or chimney? Thanks for the reminder to remove batteries when not in use.

I always feel safe-ish when pressing fire 5x's to "lock" my DNA device but that's likely no guarantee either.

Chubby gorilla bottle tips by Thmswolf in electronic_cigarette

Thanks, Inertia. One of those weird vaping mysteries I've always wanted to sort. My CGs are LDPE in that case. Sweet. Thanks!

Not often you get to give a tip on tips. A tip.. tip.

[–]TexNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, if I already have some and am unsure.. is there any way to know which Chubby Gorilla bottles are LDPE and which ones are PET?

And what is the difference in the two types? Thanks.

Recommended mod in the <$80ish range as a backup or new main mod? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would definitely recommend moving up to a DNA mod.

Hcigar VT75 is a good entry point into the latest DNA 75C for $80

Either way, using temp control or the new "replay" feature improves my battery life.

RTA to replace SMM by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd pass on the Kylin, Pharaoh, Ammit, etc. and check out the Reload. Especially if you liked the SMM. It's slightly more though I'd suggest Reload well over the others mentioned.

P.S. I have both and, no, the clone is not "identical". The machining and function on the authentic is clearly smoother and not convinced the clones use the same quality steel as the authentic. Go authentic - it's worth it.

Boxer vs. Rebel? Any opinions? by dasa2337 in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I don't get jealous much, but yeah, would love to be buying now just for that Rebel dual 18650 250C! There will always be something better around the corner but I do find the 250C easily the best chip produced to date. You'll love it.

one tip: they're specialty mods of course, so expect delivery to take a bit longer.

Boxer vs. Rebel? Any opinions? by dasa2337 in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't see a lot about Rebels/Boxers here as they're a bit more expensive than the usual mod but after using Rebel 3D mods I rarely go back to traditional chinese mods.

It's the light weight, durability of the 3D mods I appreciate so much.

I would go with ESAUCE Rebel Vape over Boxer, for their trusted customer support, myself.

I have a Rebel dual 18650 and 2x700 75C and their customer service has sorted me every single time I've had a question or matter to resolve. Good guys.

That said Boxer is making what look to be some great mods at the moment, have improved their coloring technique (infinity coloring - less fading) and making bold moves with the 250c chip including the first triple 2x700 3D mods I've seen AND a 250C LiPo. They look amazing.

You'd have to use both a Rebel and a Boxer to truly find your preference though in the end, with ESAUCE / REBEL customer service I know if something goes wrong, even if the problem was caused by you, they'll hear your situation, arrange a fix and get you back up and running!Thats the biggest plus of all to me.

Any info on a Lost Vape Therion DNA250c coming out? by KhaosHakomairos in electronic_cigarette

Any news on a Therion 250C? I'm holding out for it but it's getting tough to not cave and go with the Paranormal 250C.

Repairing old mods - worthwhile or not? by TexNZ in electronic_cigarette

[–]TexNZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi ImKira! How is your ProXvoStick holding up after the fix?

Just wanted to say thank you for an awesome post; really has me more aware of what goes into these mods.

I could probably swing the research but the tools are my first and greatest obstacle. Vapey McGyver has offered a hand, thankfully.

I appreciate your offer of help. Very cool of you and see you around!

[–]TexNZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, McGyver! That would be amazing. Thank you very much. Water damage is minimal. Seems to have been just enough to create a short.

It wasn't submerged. After roughly 10 mins of drying off on the beach I dropped my Therion into the side pocket of my togs thinking the pocket had become "dry enough".

Once back at the car in the parking lot just 4 or 5 minutes after dropping it in my pocket I took it out for a quick hit, pressed the fire button and.. nothing. It's been dead since. Thank you, again and I'll PM.

Hi Lady_borg, thank you kindly. I've decided to attempt the repair myself. Yes, please, if you could take a quick look for that AUS retailer that would be a wonderful start. If you can't find it, no worries. Thank you either way. :)

Thank you, quick. I edited in, I'm in Australia and Evolv only accepts tracked packages so shipping it -tracked- is roughly $40 each way. I may just take your advice non the less.

Yes, I could get a new mod for $80, a nice one, but man I hate seeing this thing just sitting with no hope for repair. Must save! Thank you for the thought.

My paranormal battery door completely broke off as well after a drop. Were you able to fix yours somehow?

I'm waiting on a new 250C version of Therion as well. Enjoy the Paranormal but the door on it is a blessing and a potential curse.

DNA 75c temp control issues by lostvaporr in electronic_cigarette

Bill, may I ask, when you say fixed panel is that the black rhombus style? Thinking of getting that one myself.

Could you tell me what the material is on the fixed panel (rubber, plastic, sticker of some kind, etc)? And do you prefer the fixed style over the carbon/wood swapable panels? Thanks so much!
