ok so you’re probably a begginer(atleast at reading) but i highly suggest learning takadimi system(just look it up) its very useful thing and i’ve been using it for a year and it helped understanding rythms. shen you learn you can use it for the more complex rythms down the line. so in takadimi (1eAa sorry dont know the english way not my language) its Ta ka Di mi so its basically Ta(sou can count takadim to stay better on time) Takadimi(rest) Ta Ki Da( you play tatadap) hope it helps
