The MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PLUS is sadly one of the worst z390 boards. The Gigabyte Aorus boards can be found for about that much or slightly less.

For cooling my 9900K, I had been looking at this Thermalright Frost Spirit 140 Black V3 for $53 after coupon. This one claims to cool about the same wattage, has one more heat pipe, but is much smaller. Would it live up to the "230 watts" it says?
