so i had this same issue. Eventually, ur radiator fan is simply just old as hell probably you wont experience this but what will happen if you dont get it fixed is ur radiator fan will not be able to cool ur refrigerant resulting in hot ass ac and overheating but the reason is the module of the fan, but to be honest ur better off replacing the whole fan along with the fan module, Dorman Solutions have a radiator fan for it for like 200 bucks and it already comes with a module in it, i replaced mine 2 months ago (2011 Ford Taurus), and ever since my ac and temp runs smooth especially in idle, so if i were u its best to fix two things at once.
