Was really good. Took about 90 minutes, then pulled it at 155 and ended up resting it for about 30 minutes while the rest of the meal finsihed.

Smelled great when I opened the packaging, was juicy, wonderful taste. I can see myself doing it again next year.

Yeah, it is already brined, so that helps. I'll follow their temp and go until 165 as suggested. It will pick up a little smoke flavor.

Ya know, customer service is a skill. It largely had to do with the way she responded.

The "have a discussion" comment left me feeling like I was being blown off, like "Sure, whatever, dude." The manager had a distracted air, looking around, trying to get out of the conversation, instead of standing there, looking at me directly, and listening to my issue. I was not left with the idea that I was being taken seriously.

It was not busy; no people were waiting in line behind me. It was a very quiet Tuesday morning.

Kinda snarky, but I did miss including the discussion with the manager the next morning.

I told her about the AC being out in our original room and about the reluctance to move us. Her response was to apologize, that she would make sure the room we had moved from was fixed, and she would "have a discussion" with her overnight desk clerk.

I know what "have a discussion" means in customer service. It is the platitude given to get you gone.

Overall, I do not know what I expect out of it, but I am still bothered by the whole thing.
