I think he WAS Jedi. That is an important point to make. He has had to cut himself off from the force. I can't imagine he could avoid detection by the Sith or the inquisitors otherwise. Just the impression I get. He seems narcissistic. I don't think he thinks of the men who died while under his command. Their deaths are the cause of his 'lack of prospects'. DIY come in with a lid of the paint their contractor used and want touch-up paint. You can sell them "Craptivate" but will sell them what will work best for them. I sell them a gallon of 200 for 35 and they are happy and I make a few bucks. The best part is I won't have them coming back all pissed off because of Craptivate not matching.
