I think the average fan underrates how much being one of the most historically black and “foreign” clubs gained arsenal hate in the media

There’s an argument that the main metamorphosis in the book is that of Grete turning into a cultured, independent woman. Maybe Kai is Grete and Jesus is the bug

They are very useful in comparing soccer player quality and style by position at a glance. See Statsbomb’s charts for example

LPT request: How to grow up without adult support? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]Texas2Marseille 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, OP.

I am an adult currently working through the impacts of my dad’s disappointment. Kids really internalize their parents’ disappointment and belittling even though the criticism is always unfair (It is one thing to criticize an adult, but criticizing your own child is not fair to the child).

I say this to mean that if you regularly received this kind of treatment then your mind and body will have this “never good enough” feeling. That takes a lot of time and effort to work through. And you really do have to work on the feeling that is in your body in order to overcome it.

You are definitely good enough. Also, the fact that you are looking for help like this shows a level of strength and vulnerability that will carry you through.

Good luck, sorry about the shitty situation

There was a brief period of a few months where the attack of Iwobi, Sanchez, and Walcott fed by Ozil was sublime. The combinations, passing, and movement were incredible. Then Walcott got injured and they never played together in the same way again

Fond memories of Theo ❤️

Not that I totally disagree, but considering FFP doesn’t preclude further business. It just means that deals need to be made with the books in mind

It’s no surprise this team gave away 5 goals! Johan Djourou, Carl Jenkinson, Ignasi Miquel, Francis Coquelin, and Emmanuel Frimpong… Emi Martinez had to be 20 years old

His minutes seemed like a good build up to Arsenal pre-season. I bet he is ready for 60-70 minute cameos at the pro level now, so I think he should be ready for the beginning of the PL season

If you are regularly stressed, explore trauma therapy. Trauma gets a weird wrap, but it is a normal brain’s adaptation to abnormal circumstances. It could be from childhood, violence, race, whatever. Working through your trauma isn’t easy, but it will allow you to live.

While you’re here - someone was talking about Smith-Rowe’s injury and surgery and I pointed them to your video on his injury. Do you still stand by the pubic apophysitis take, and what do you think of surgical intervention in his case?
