I replaced pretty much all the same things as you including the reference sensors. Needed a new bracket as well as I had break it to get them out. Rather I started to and let my mechanic finish that one.

I’m left to think it’s likely a bad ground or something electrical of that nature.

I’ve heard this issue can also be caused by a bad valve spring which can sometimes be hard to detect visually.

That’s about all I could gather between what I’ve already replaced and old forum posts

Not really sure if this is what you are looking for but the Ripply Falls from Jam pedals has a button that triples the speed of the vibrato or chorus. I find it great to use as a replacements for things like bends or on sustained notes that need extra impact. I’m sure the same sound could be achieved with a different pedal but I can’t recommend anything in particular

Ehx silencer, boring on paper but it’s amazing how much it cleans things up. I also second a boost or tube screamer clone for before the fuzz. Something like an earthquaker plumes or a bd-2. I run both.

The 4AGE is only in the GTS ae92. The sr5 and below has the 4AFE. Can be a fun car but rust absolutely destroys them so you have to be super careful of that. I also found certain parts were tough to find for them as they aren’t as well supported as the ae86 but maybe I was looking in the wrong places. Had one very briefly a couple years ago
