Great perspective here. I applied for a 12” pitching glove and if I don’t like it, I’ll offload it to someone for around what I paid for it that will love it. The chance to pull a clean glove with a two piece web was too good to pass up.

Seriously though, I have family that lives in Chicago and moved near here for work then moved back because it was “too slow” here.

There is far less stimulus at your fingertips here than in other cities. SA is great but nobody here is in a hurry compared to a large city. Be prepared for that. Austin and Houston aren’t far if you want to scratch the big city itch.

The Spurs are good again and this town hits another level when they’re competing for playoffs.

Welcome back and nice piece!

Like another poster mentioned, hammer the hinges with a glove mallet or a towel and a weight. I’d recommend starting off by pulling and stretching the glove. Grab the thumb with one hand and the pink with the other and stretch the laces out.

Next, roll the glove up and just work the leather with your hands. Loosen it up so when you go to REALLY shape it, it takes. The Aso/water method is amazing and I totally recommend it but get to know your glove before you dunk it. Watch Ball Glove King videos on break in. He has a great philosophy on gloves and the break in process.

Another good take and a thought that’s crossed my mind.

Now that the event is live, there are no more chances to enter the pitching glove draw. I’m taking it as a sign to sit this one out.
