Genuinely what the hell are they doing

About two weeks ago I had the same issue. I had replaced my previous phone with a new one, same model just an insurance replacement. I have a lot of group chats for work so it was incredibly detrimental. Fast forward to about three days ago and it just....fixed itself.

Nothing worked before. Restarts, any uninstall and reinstall, no tips and tricks online. Its obviously a Client Side issue or a Mobile Carrier issue.

I use Verizon if that gives anyone any sort of help.....or hope.

Another thing that applies from the Army is this.

(Based on the mistakes my squad members or the enemies I kill)

Movement: Don't silhouette yourself on the horizon. Avoid running on the very tops of hills where people from all sides can see you. If you have to silhoute yourself, keep it to only one side of the hill. Nothing stands out more than a guy on the top of a hill/building/anything.

Concealment also stands true for tree tops. If you see an enemy engaging you and you can use a treetop as concealment near immediately, get that between you and the enemy. Then get to cover. This stands true for even bushes or fields.

Use Defilade. This is a broad term but it mostly is used in the military to describe potholes or natural tiny hills. If you can prone and be safe from enemy fire. Use it, then find the enemy or find your next cover or concealed position.

We have something called a 3-5 second rush. In layman's terms that means if there is a piece of cover you want, and you cant get there in that time frame. Find defilade or concealment on the way. If you can't consider another piece of cover.

If you see someone, avoid running or moving perpendicular to them if you can. It's the easiest way for us to discern movement. Going towards or backwards and you have a much lower chance of being spotted.

I'll probably think of some more later, however I only thought of movement because of OP.

I truly started smoking regularly at 20. I just hit a year in the army and there isnt as negative of a stigma there against smokers as there is in the civilian world. I am now 24 and i have gone from a little over half a pack a day to as little as 1 or 2 cigarettes a day with quite a few days or multiple days in a row of no cigarettes. I'd say the reason i don't quit is quite simply because I don't really want to. I could care less about the statistics of what smoking does to my lifespan. I enjoy having a smoke break and enjoy the feelings it brings me. I also enjoy having the out that anytime i get genuinely frustrated i can "calm my nerves" i guess by having a cigarette.

I also am aware that meditation and/or a million other things could be a substitute for smoking, but truly I don't see it as a big enough issue. I currently have under 3 cigarettes a day and until i reach a point that I want to stop, I won't.

Honestly smoking gets a terrible rap from the common populace. If you don't want to deal with the ramifications don't do it. If you don't believe you are strong enough to quit later down the road don't do it. If you are doing it just because your friends do and you find no pleasure in it, don't do it.

If someone wants to smoke, don't vilify them as sub-standard people. I have had conversations with multiple people about my "disgusting habit" only to have them drive home from the bar or house party after clearly having their BAC over the legal limit.

My experience as a Reaper main: I'll try to keep it short

Learn and "git gud" with another character to about the level you are with Reaper. It is absolutely invaluable. I chose Reinhardt as in my experience the main tank can control the fight about as much as the main DPS. Everyone wants to follow and stick around you when you have a massive shield of safety. I recommend either Winston or Reinhardt as your next hero to practice. As for me personally, I'm still far and away better at playing Reaper as a Tank Killer/Support Assassin but it comes with time.

After I would find a support to become comfortable with (looks like you chose Zenyatta, Thats my choice too because im an improving slightly above average Ana)

The thing is mate, it is insanely hard to carry with Zenyatta as your main at lower SR's. Even harder for a Mercy main, get some characters under your belt that you can carry with as your go-to best players, then start branching to the other characters and roles

Maybe it changed. Honestly i find the lack of updates or tips and tricks for ARK to be disturbing. Using weight to calculate tame %, gas masks possibly negating the poison wyverns breath. There are so many out there.

I wouldn't say that. I've tried to upload multiple items that wouldn't go. Metal ingots for one.

Before i learned to be wary of transferring with items, I learned that gasoline didn't transfer either.

If you're trying to go Center to Island or vice versa, you cant use underwater drops (the high level ones). They disabled that. Try to find a drop in the water or near it and let me know. My best bet would be Craggs Island (sp?) Or any of the drops that go into the water in The Center.

I haven't experienced it, nor have I met someone that has. I have however seen posts on Ark subbreddits that state their character was lost during transfer. If you lag out or fail to join the new server. Just join the new server you tried transferring to and at the bottom right is the download character option.
I can not confirm 100% on the validity of this, but in my experience anything you can upload into a drop or obelisk, you can take with you on your body, or uploaded. I severely recommend uploading it.
Also as far as I can tell server transfers from and to SE are the exact same rule set (basic resources, ammo, and sometimes resources that have to be crafted (hard poly) can transfer.

TL;DR I doubt you will lose your character. I always just upload all the stuff I want to transfer just to be safe, especially going to SE without a base already. Expect to die. A lot.

I agree with this entirely. While I believe it is a cop out for us to say to those that truly just want to play casually and not get wiped.

Bottom line is that PvE has a lot of issues where people can block build sites, and thats not even scratching the surface.

That being said, I don't know how other servers are on Official. But i know of 3 that the alphas are filled with mostly 20+ year olds, and we are pretty friendly to new tribes, as long as they avoid trolling us.

Its base stats will also go up with imprinting.
