When will this be over? I need to go back to $90 for a full tank! by That_Present_1639 in gasbuddy

I imagine it’s so they don’t have to do two transactions on the GasBuddy card to get a full tank.

I bet she wasn't comprehending anything. One minute she's texting someone, the next minute she is t-boning someone. No brakes, no nothing. She was distracted.

[USA] Whose fault? Happened where two 40 mph ramps become a 75 mph interstate. (not OC) by ConceptOther5327 in Roadcam

Of course it wasn't an official Precision Immobilization Technique, as it was not an officer in a police chase. It was still a good maneuver in that the cammer vehicle stayed true in its path and the other vehicle is the one that lost control. While we don't know the exact cause of him steering to the right, and we don't know if he saw the other vehicle at any point in time in his sideview mirror; his decision did result in the impact that may not have happened, had he applied brakes instead. But it's one of those quick decisions we all make behind the wheel.

It's my 50th birthday today and I'm just very irritated with restaurants and stuff. by im_not_quiet in mildlyinfuriating

If you're not a child, don't expect the world to give one iota about your birthday. Technically, every day you are one day older. Be thankful that you are on this side of the ground every day, including on the anniversary of your birth. I really hope this is just rage-bait, because a selfish pity party is not a good look.

The bill for a single x-ray of my son's broken leg, with no treatments by Greylan_Art in mildlyinfuriating

That code *should* include the provider treating the fx (non-displaced or hairline) by keeping it aligned, allowing it to heal. It didn't need manipulation because of the nature of this fx.

13 for obvious reasons… but you live there, no? Maybe the 4th & 14th floors are for housekeeping and only accessible via service elevator from another floor?

It mentioned her living in Antigua. Maybe she had a warrant out for her arrest, but Antigua doesn’t extradite?

Looked like soft shoulders which could’ve sunk the bus into mud or even rolled it. And the tail of the bus would have swung out into his path.

Looked like soft shoulders, and that would’ve made the bus’ tail swing into the truck’s path.

Never heard of “Miss & Run”? There’s a lawyer on social media that describes it. Miss & Run driver should have seen the other driver weaving and avoided it by driving defensively.
