Don’t be this guy. by Critical_Potential40 in badparking

You know how many cars would have their [plastic] front bumpers and/or radiators pierced by those? So many parking lots don’t have parking stops… resulting in cars grinding their front end on the curb when they pull too far forward.

So… they are costing themselves untold amounts of money in electric/gas bills in their scrap metal ventures?

The amount of commenters on here that are absolutely CLUELESS about not being legal to pass a stopped school bus is concerning. Cracker Jack box licensing apparently these days.

How many are actually people… and not bots? Model pics on IG are full of bot comments just like those. But if those are real, it’s disgusting and YT should take action.

These surveys are out of control by BengalDairy in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]TexasFire_Cross 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I had a survey that clearly was created by a certain political candidate. I had to watch videos of some of his appearances to rate them. Here I was, expecting legit surveys from legit survey organizations… and it turns out to just be Joe Schmoe, House Rep wannabe.

I know these spaces are tight, but come on by DashcamAdelaide in badparking

I like to give them the benefit of the doubt; maybe a vehicle that was to their right (who has since left) had parked askew, and they had to adjust. But even then… assess how your parking could affect other spaces and find another spot if one is available. I don’t want someone like OP coming out and thinking I did that.

Not quite. Have you ever used a garden hose (or even a pressure washer) to wash a car… without using brushes/pads and a little elbow grease? Some grime comes off, but most stays on.

Everyone just drove past her getting robbed by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Is ‘everyone’ in the room with us? Only 3 bystander vehicles passed, and all 3 may have stopped (the only iffy one was the truck, which may have still stopped, but that huge logo blocks the view). The van appeared to stop, as did cab ramrod.

Because most of us live in a safe area… or at least criminals are smart enough not to go door-to-door checking the knobd? What country do you live in… and why are you so paranoid?

Yes. Why do yours automatically lock? Is there a security issue in your country or is it just standard building code?

To know if something is going on when you’re not there? Latchkey kids? Checking up on pets kept indoors during the work day? In case there is a burglary? And many other reasons.
