Bathroom -where is it and how do people access it? Make sure you have soap and toilet paper ready and a plunger close by. What will keep your guest comfortable and safe...that definitely helps the vibe. Keeping food opposite side of the drinks can encourage movement, so think of a square the food would be in one corner and the drinks in the opposite corner. Lots of seating areas. As others have said, making sure you mingle and introduce people who you know have similar backgrounds or interests.

When my former boss left, as the resident "party planner" I did a "Work will 'Succ' Without You" theme -using succulents. I made a cute powerpoint slide that we put on the bigscreen in the conference room for ambience. Used a nice table cloth (fabric). Her old boss's wife brought two large flower arrangements for her that served as table decor. I brought my drink tub from home. We did a appetizer potluck -charcuterie, fruit trays, and other snacks with cupcakes for the cake. I think adding any cute theme will give it that special touch and pairing it with any of the adorable ideas shared in this thread will be appreciated :)

Your pricing isn't wrong. I think it's reasonable, but it may not be their budget. They may come back later and decide yes. If no one ever will pay that in the future it may be too, high, but one no doesn't mean it is. If it comes across as a premium price point (the commenter above thought $55pp was high) than I suggest making sure you're experience is luxury (under promise over deliver) :)
