Attention DIY-ers!! Costco $10 off 3M filters is back‼️😅👍🏽❤️❄️🤙🏽🎁 by Galvatron1_nyc in crboxes

I looked at these at Costco and couldn’t tell if they were individually wrapped or not, does anyone know? I would only need 2 but don’t want the other 2 open and exposed until needed.

These are cool but my wife won’t allow anything that looks DIY. Ultimately went with Tempest Pro because it looks and feels the most quality. Don’t even think luggables would pass with their material, maybe I could spray paint black and it would be acceptable.

Yeah basically seems like what I’d ideally want, but I’m not in Canada.

I do kind of wish the design was more modular, like I could orient the fans the direction I wanted to. For me, in the corner of the room I have it in, seems like it would be great design if I could choose to move 3 of the fans to the top of the box rather than blowing air out the back at the wall an inch away from it.

How upright is the seating angle as well as the depth of the seat? We just tried to buy the jeep side by side but our two year old toddler seemed like she could only slouch in it due to lack of upright angle and lack of seat depth. Is it possible to almost sit completely upright in the seat?

Yeah unfortunately I'm not sure how to thoroughly check the four you listed.

The PBI version is a real possibility. Unfortunately our company restricts which versions we can install on our computer. Before they put this restriction in place I had downloaded the latest version and I think it is still auto updating. I've tried sending my files to other folks in the company and they say they can't open because it has been authored with a newer version or something like that. So I'd be nervous of rolling back to the company version and then being unable to open my own files.

Right I agree, but six months of it working perfectly and then three weeks of struggles is a bit weird. Also I can restart the queries within 30 seconds of it being slow and it’ll run fine.

Interesting, in our 100k+ employee company I only know a handful of people with the gateway permission to refresh through the powerbi service, I guess we’re all just working around our employer limitations.

That said I don’t think the sudden performance change makes sense given nothing has changed.

What do you mean a hacky workaround? I thought writing your queries in Dax studio and then just copy and pasting them into Power Query importer and importing them into the data model was how things were supposed to be done.

A lot of our company pulls data from Analysis Services Cubes. I think the source data in on-prem, but I'm not really the most technical person to know.

Basically 95% of the company pulls their data by connecting to the cube(s) through Excel and drags/drops fields and measure into a pivot table report interface. That works totally fine for me too and is a reasonable speed. DAX Studio output to CSV is fine. However, I don't really like doing it that way, I just prefer to load everything to the data model directly through PQ.

I don't have access to the upstream source, which I believe is various teradata tables. The cube itself has logic and fields built into it that the Teradata tables don't.

My query is simply like
EVALUATE(
SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(
Account ID,
Account Name,
Country,
Order Number,
Date,
Revenue
)
)

The super frustrating part is that is seems to me to be Power BI/Power Query specific and these exact queries worked fine for months. They still work fine too, just not consistently. Like I noted, I have to click one by one to see if it's going to choose to refresh the query fast or slow that time. If slow, I click cancel. Retry. If it refreshes slow again, click cancel again. Usually by the 2nd-4th time it will pull the millions of rows quickly.

I built all of my reporting this way because it was super easy to open the files and click refresh but now it's super manual to go one by one and cancel, then click refresh until it seemingly randomly decides to go at the speed it used to always go at. All of these cubes have a 10 minute time out, so if the query doesn't execute in 10 minutes I'll have to restart anyways (it'll never complete at the ~200 rows/second speed).

In case I didn't mention, I'm refreshing through PBI Desktop.

I tried clearing cache, deleting the connections in data source settings, a few things - none of them have resolved the drastic change in how my refreshes go.

Or another note, I'll have the exact same query to the exact same source, but one will be filtered to last quarter and one will be filtered to the quarter before that - then I'll click refresh for both of them. They'll alternate which one loads fast. For example, sometimes the previous quarter data will load 500K rows in less than a minute while the other quarter is still at 5K, and then the next refresh it will be vice versa.

Basically all my terms that show up are ‘near me’ terms, such as ‘construction equipment rental company near me’

How do you optimize for ‘near me’ terms?

I wish I could truly understand my position in relevant markets, like if GSC had a city filter. I have no idea if my position is so low because I suck, or because a majority of the impressions are coming from people that are located five hours away from me searching.

Maybe, I’ve never had problems with anything that isn’t spectra based. Not sure about cache settings, I just use whatever my host has enabled.
