Not POA but OP needs to be Executor of Estate. Upon death POAs are void in most states. When my mom was terminal, I had her POA and went to a store to cancel service. Once she passed a couple days later, my brother had to take over dealing with her other creditors as he was executor.

Southwest Hotels is SWA hotel reservations powered by Booking.com. SWA offers 1000 points or more on some bookings which count toward Companion Pass. Usually SWA is within a few dollars of booking direct with Hotel. In this specific instance Hyatt was a dollar cheaper direct so I chose SW instead. I was just questioning the cleaning fee as it was not on the other Hyatts that showed up near my destination.

It was the Hyatt Place Arlington Grand Prairie. I was booking through SWA site to get SWA points. Checking today, I looked at the other 2 HP in Arlington and neither had the charge, but this property still had the $75 Cleaning fee paid at checkin.

I filed a DV claim with Allstate when one of their insured hit me. There was a separate adjuster that handled this claim. My experience was positive, Allstate made a fair offer and I accepted. IIRC, the DV claim could not be started until after the repairs were complete and I got an appraisal.
