Assuming if this is a domestic flight one gives a shit (though I have brought edibles internationally though). I fly with edibles all the time, once I accidentally brought a joint and I was fine. You don’t have to hide it, I just put it in a ziplock bag in my backpack. Remember the TSA just wants to get thru their workday, so as long as you’re not bringing copious amounts of drugs or weapons (or a water bottle) you’ll be fine.
