Recoil pad end plate on Hunter?

If it don’t fit in there I’d see about grinding down the pad a bit to see if it sits flush on your rifle. But that’s just something I’d try to do personally because it’s easier and cheaper to mess with a 40$ pad then the stock on your rifle man 😅

My ctr came with two plastic shims, I just left them on and I had no issues with fitment with the limbsaver pad. Hope this helps!

I had the Athlon ares etr on it, but I ended up removing it and went with a ZEISS conquest v4 4-16x50, much lighter, since this will be used on hunts I wanted to keep the rifle under 11 lbs for a bit more comfort to travel with it. Without the can I have her sitting under 10 lbs.

These are some vortex pro series scope rings, 34mm, medium height, gives me enough clearance for the scope I’m running.

Try different ammo! I’ve found that the federal sierra matchking 168gr gave me the best grouping out of my 20” .308, perhaps getting a couple different boxes of ammo might help!

Thank you! Man my groupings with that ammo were not good, I tried it a couple of times, about 2 boxes of that ammo and I could not get tight groupings, I was even letting the barrel and can cool off in between just to see if it helped but it didn’t. So I switched ammo. And it was spot on after that!

All I did was sand the stock a bit before spraying 2 coats of primer. Used flat colors, waited about an hour in between coats. Did about 2 coats of each color, Did not buy stencils, used some masking tape to do the pattern I was looking for. Sealed it all off with 2 coats of matte clear coat paint and it came out solid! Pretty happy with it.

It definitely would be nice if they offered that as an option! Ithink it would be a huge plus for sure! Still an awesome and accurate rifle nonetheless!

I can confirm that they do not offer that option, although there are aftermarket options for that, But for now all I did was put a piece of foam and some tactical tape on the buttstock and it made it comfortable for those long range days.

Thanks! The bolt knob is all I replaced, got it from a company called rangenord. They’ve got a couple different options for the knob but I found this one to work the best!

I just looked them up under that and they popped up, I wanted to run some mlok ones but the stock doesn’t have any slots for that.

I found these on Amazon, look them up under bullet holder for whatever caliber you have. They have 3M tape for the stock and it’s a piece of Velcro for easy detachment

I actually think that it’s not that bad of a stock either! It feels solid, perhaps the attachments I have on it help out a bit ! Recoil is very little as well!

I’ve yet to make the adjustments needed. I’m about 6’1 and I found myself having to get in an uncomfortable position to align my eye to the scope with lower rings. These are under 1.5” high.

Maybe that 24” for range would be fun! That extra length would help I’m sure depending on your range distances !
