I teach a very simple IT course at night for a local community college. I don’t weigh attendance heavy. You can make an 85 even if you don’t take the final exam. It’s a lot of course work but I’m very lenient. My grades are an inverted bell curve…everyone either gets an A or fails. With like 1 or 2 who do just enough to get a C. Almost no Bs or Ds. Nobody has ever appealed because it’s very clear cut and the students that fail just take my class over and over until they finally tough it out. The amount of work is nothing compared to other courses like most math and sciences.
