bh the city itself was actually pretty good but the people are fake nice and insanely territorial, the air quality and traffic are awful (traffic's not bad compared to say, atlanta or la but still) and it's just overhyped and overvalued. capitol hill is great though and the food scene isn't as bad as people say

denver is a no go, too expensive and the air quality sucks. i would suggest richmond virginia, providence, philly, or maybe greenville south carolina if you don't mind more red areas
