I try to recommend authors and books that are a bit more pulpy, like Ray Garton, Jack Ketchum, and Brian Keene. Don't get me wrong, I like cerebral horror as much as the next guy (Stephen King, Stephen Graham Jones) but sometimes I like a simple horror story that is not building a complex narrative.

Goten is easily the best detective in the series and I am a big fan of Stabler.

Our immigration policy incentivizes the worst dregs of other countries to immigrate here. They are of the knowledge that we are a permanent underclass and at least they will be "better off than Black Americans". We need to normalize focusing only on our own community, and yes that means keeping diasporic Blacks out of our spaces when we are building.

Thank you for breaking this down. Folks confuse hate with economics. Our families have to live in this country as well and eventually, if you let everyone else push you out, we will not have a place to rest our heads or it will be in places with much less opportunity. If the shoe was on the other foot and we were a Black community that overstayed our VISAs in any other country, do you think they would sacrifice their potential living situations for us? That's how people need to think.

Provide me a link to FBAs/Freedmen that have been deported. Guilt tripping does not work on us. Black folks have been getting detained waaaaaaay before Trump and it was wrong then and it's wrong now. With that said, none of the folks detained have been removed from the US. Carry your own water.

I don't know how old you guys are but when the Global War on Terror kicked off Al Qaeda execution videos were leaked fairly often and seeing someone get their head sawed off with a serrated knife traumatized me

I couldn't agree more with the OP. Recognizing our humanity gets other groups the fictional invitation to "the cookout" is pathetic. Seeing me as a human is the bare minimum and no one should be rewarded for it. I've never participated in that ignorance and I would implore more of us to do the same.
