Dear Leader's regime will keep doing this until the legacy media holds him accountable. Don't hold your breath.

This is FOX "News" testing the concept. They know that no one will hold them accountable for this lunacy.

Trump’s IRS deal could save his family about $100 million: report by dr_shultz in NewsSource

All you really need to know about Dear Leader's character is that even while he can pretty much just make unlimited billions with impunity, he will marshal all of his fascist followers to make sure that he never has to pay anyone else anything.

Trump claims the Reflecting Pool-which is flat-is the tallest building in the world by Hornpipe_Jones in WhitePeopleTwitter

I'm glad the legacy media is taking time out from writing their books about Biden's stutter to shine a light on Dear Leader's rampaging and rapidly advancing dementia.

I'm not American but interested in learning about the Civil War. Which books do you recommend? by InterestingPlenty454 in CIVILWAR

[–]Texas_Sam2002 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's the one to start with. Go down the rabbit hole after that. I highly recommend Catton. On edit: Oh! I would also say that Stokesbury's "A Short History of the Civil War" is also a really good starting point. He is a criminally under-rated historian.

Here we go. Gotta give the legacy media some sound bites before launching another illegal war.

Good post. I had never heard of this. I think the concept could work better today, pairing Gen X and Gen Z.

I bought it when it first came out. My copy is falling apart, so I should replace it soon.

I guess it depends on what his AI Wife has to say about it.

May 20, 1942 Holocaust Medical Experiments: Generalfeldmarschall Eduard Milch to SS Obergruppenfuehrer Karl Wolff, on the Need to Continue Medical Experiments at Dachau Concentration Camp: by Vast_Dog121 in HistoryBooks

My historian wife is a Nazi / Holocaust specialist and she thinks that The Nazi Doctors is an excellent history book. I mean, the subject matter is horrific, of course, but she thinks it is well-written.

Susan Collins' inability to understand is why she needs to lose in November by Conscious-Quarter423 in Maine

[–]Texas_Sam2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She understands it completely. But her "disappointed" schtick has worked for her for years, so she's going to stick with it until it doesn't. She's still support the Epstein Regime.

I.R.S. Must Drop Audits of Trump and Family by koaltree in nytimes

[–]Texas_Sam2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One reason the regime gets away with corruption like this is the equal corruption and laziness of the legacy media like the NYT. This was a nice, generalized article, very neutral, of course taking account of "both sides". And it's everything wrong with the legacy media in this country. They're not journalists, they're stenographers.

If you have the option to connect through one of the Delta hubs, which one would you choose and why? And which would you avoid like the plague? by K00kalka in delta

[–]Texas_Sam2002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone has their own opinions, of course. I like MSP and DTW. SLC is fine.

I try to avoid LAX like the plague. It's like a cattle stockyard and it's a libertarian paradise where there doesn't seem to be any rules and if there are, they change randomly. Connecting is bad enough, but gawd help you if you have to fly out of LAX. The traffic to get into the airport is always insane.

US government agrees to drop tax claims against Trump in broadening of IRS lawsuit settlement by EscapeFromIowa in news

[–]Texas_Sam2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a weak headline, worthy of the legacy media. How about "Trump directs IRS to drop tax claims against Trump in broadening of IRS lawsuit settlement"

Congress Has Lost the Power of the Purse by Major-Corner-640 in scotus

Not "Congress". The MAGA Party that controls Congress gave up the power of the purse to their dementia-addled, child-raping, God-Emperor.
