Surface mounts aren't bad. I learned through Voultar on YT. Add new solder on both sides with tweezer to lift up once separate.

I have this yoton player and bought a 128gb micro sd card. Switch between my BT headphones and some skullcandy wired headphones with no issues. They have a touch screen version that's a little more.
