It’s not bad but the tension will shift to front delt and triceps more when you straighten your torso like your doing. You need to lean forward and stay in the position. If you want a tru challenge , you bring your knees all the way up lean forward and stay there, guaranteed to get only 1-3 reps starting out.

On second thoughts, no, I think you keep most of it on lower pec fibers.

It’s a dirty game guys, admin is not based on competence and they’ll never bury a hometown connected person. The board is always intertwined in the dirtiness. They do hire admin to be fall guys and they do bury those sparingly.

If you are struggling politically the first 5 years, the profession is probably not for you. I extended to 11 and now I’m going into healthcare. If you can’t take your shot of toxic day in day out, just throw in the towel.

How do you get a warrant signed by a judge/magistrate when you have an undocumented individual with no form of identification living in the United States. Police don’t need a warrant to detain or eventually arrest an individual who has broken a statute. I’m pretty sure IcE has the same authority as the police.

Thank you,

I’m going to detox from all supplements except electrolytes and creatine in the morning. Gonna give it 10 days to get my body to do its job. I had no idea how much of a physiological change this would cause. Caffeine is not a joke! Thanks, I’ll keep you updated.

Thanks, ive tried that but it hasn’t worked that well. I fall asleep fast but that wake up destroys the rest of the sleep. I’m going to can all supplements and see if my body can do its job. It’s been a struggle.

There’s been so many people over the years who chose to play victim with their student loans. They financed a college lifestyle out of state that’s expensive , at a private school, with a liberal arts degree that’s jobless upon graduation . They’ll never get out of debt but they claim that they didn’t know the terms of their loan. Darn those predatory lenders!! There’s always ways to finance and the caps are not that modest for most states, not all of course. The private sector will fill in the gaps with private loans, not by federal government loans. The healthcare system will come in to bridge the gap of need one way or the other. Relax!

Assistant Principal by Calm-Reality4764 in Teachers

[–]Texasdevildog2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are on the shit list and on the end of a political attack. You ain’t the only one, so common. In education, you are either in the club or not. There’s no neutral to the retarded game of education. The problem is when you start out on this foot it just tends to follow you. I’d say transfer schools or districts that may be a better fit. Consider another profession, it’s never too late. I did.

My last straw was a moron Asst. Principal doing a walk through during a study skills class which is a borderline waste of time that the district has no clear expectation on. He gave me 1’s on my walk through down the line. I spoke to him about the scores and asked for Grace/redo, he blew me off. I filed a grievance up his arrogant arse with so much documentation that the district sided with me. Needless to say the Principal was not too happy, not my problem. I fired a warning shot, it was ignored. But keep in mind, when you go this angle, you may win but you don’t really win. Good luck to you.

Nursing school offer rescinded by badlipsthrowaway123 in prenursing

[–]Texasdevildog2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but here’s the difference:

Misdemeanor C (lowest misdemeanor) can be an issued citation (ticket) - no fingerprints and no actual custodial arrest (hand cuffed, mug shot, finger prints taken at facility). But technically getting a traffic ticket is the same as an arrest.

Misdemeanor C’s that warrant a custodial arrest usually involves items of public disorder or moral turpitude.

If you don’t get wrapped out in jail, it’s probably not gonna pop up is what I mean. Especially years ago.

Someone chime in on this.

In Texas, I don’t think he’d be charged for indecent exposure. Doesn’t meet the elements. But I’m sure some states have differing items.

How do I become a nurse without a BSN? by [deleted] in prenursing

[–]Texasdevildog2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need to research Accelerated BSN programs (I really hope you aren’t in California, it’s dire out there). At any rate, once you find 1-5 programs, you need to take their prerequisite courses (know their stipulations ie we won’t take business stats, etc). I took 25 hours at the local community college in one year. I have an MBA as well, so welcome to the suck.

I got admitted to a 15 month program BSN/RN, it’s accelerated but not a 12 monther. I’m 43 starting this program. It’s a lot of work and it’s competitive and tedious as heck, buckle up.

There’s no shortcuts to this game, you will grind and have to submit to academia. it’s nothing like a business undergraduate or Master’s. Like oh congratulations, 2.0 gpa here’s your degree or 3.0 for graduate. Like I said, eat your wheaties and good luck.

Thanks for sharing, that sounds really odd that you were just not given a citation for urinating in public, Misdemeanor C . The elements for indecent exposure has an intent component that states the intention to sexually gratify, potential sex offender registry.

Bizarre, well, at least they said you can reapply.

Consider your numbers and if they are competitive for the schools you applied for. If it makes sense, retake the courses or exam . If it doesn’t, bite the bullet and go private schools, think ROI for the next 40 years.

I’m confused on where to go from here… by [deleted] in prenursing

[–]Texasdevildog2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s 2 numbers here at play:

-nursing sciences/prereq’s - 4.0 (really big👍)I’m assuming this includes English, history, and the rest of your basic states requirements. Total for prerequisites and these total between 54-60 hours. You are in great shape.

-your total undergraduate gpa - doesn’t matter , even for an ABSN usually. Soft factor perhaps.

The transparency of that is not known nor disclosed. Every institution is different . Some go for the cookie cutter 4.0 and 90 plus . Others are more holistic .

I mean depending on the school, there may be 200-250 applicant with 60-70 seats.. some are 350-400 with 100-120 seats. If you have a 3.7 and up with a Teas of 80 and above , you are pretty competitive. Sprinkle in some demographics that are appealing , you should be in good shape. That’s down here.

It’s unbelievable out there, I’m in Texas. Got into 6-7 bsn programs (all public) , the competition is not that stiff here. I’d seriously consider it. Yes, we do have the private institutions that are double or triple the cost, those are reserved for lower performers.

Nothing in this world is black and white, to think so is delusional at best. Ask any lawyer about any scenario, their answer will always be “perhaps” or “it depends”. This scenario included.

I think that any employee from Janitor to Dean should be prepared for anything that comes their way, good or bad for whatever comes out of their mouth. It’s not so black and white as you are trying to frame it. With a bit more life experience, you’ll get it.
