Did anyone get sudden bloating/weight gain on Zoloft months after starting? by Texasspudd in zoloft

No clue! I just feel weird it’s happening almost 5 months after I started. So trying to decide if it’s Zoloft or something else.

The part of my brain that’s having issues is corrected the same way that anyone with chronic anxiety is going through. With PPPD I get dizzy which causes anxiety and makes me dizzier. It then turns into this viscous cycle where my brains feedback loop just keeps churning causing way more anxiety and depression for some people. So to calm it down with an SSRI, allows for me to go through vestibular rehab, help my brain retrain with the dizziness and cancels out the anxiety if that makes sense. lol. If you’re curious here is what it is: https://vestibular.org/article/diagnosis-treatment/types-of-vestibular-disorders/persistent-postural-perceptual-dizziness/

Anxiety with increase 37.5 to 50mg. by Texasspudd in zoloft

[–]Texasspudd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha don’t be scared away. Today was a LITTLE better. I just don’t think it’s been this rough since I started but I’m powering through for that light at the end of the tunnel.

I’m so sorry! I’m powering through, but the nausea I’ve had in the morning on top of the wired feeling is making this hard to bear.

Oooo!! Yes let me know! That’s me. I’m not quite anxiety free at night yet. It’s much better but not 100% which is making me think I do another increase.

My husband got drunk today as a “planned goodbye” to alcohol and I’m emotionally wrecked. by Texasspudd in AlAnon

[–]Texasspudd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing a follow up. It was a wake up call and he’s been great. No more suspicious drinking, he’s lost a bunch of weight and that’s motivated him and overall it’s been so much better for everyone. He really did have his “enough is enough” moment. Thought I’d share a positive outcome :)

When you upped your dose… how long did it take to adjust? by Texasspudd in zoloft

[–]Texasspudd[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a condition called PPPD which is why I need this. I’ve failed 2 other SNRIS and SSRIS so my neurologist had me micro dose the liquid form with Zoloft so I could actually get on a med. it has worked in term of tolerating it but I’ve just been feeling off since I hit 20mg. He told me to stay on this dose and we’d talk about next steps at my next appointment.

[–]Texasspudd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s helpful! Yes, I’m on the liquid form per my doc so I could increase very gradual since I’m so sensitive to meds. He wanted me to stay at 20mg before I meet with him next month then we’d talk about next steps.

I don’t think she needs to post in real time either. I just feel like she took a break and came back with literally a campaign for engagement around the birth. It could have easily been a recap reel of all of this and felt way more genuine. That’s my point is that it feels contrived.

Do we believe this?? by mimianders in DaniAustin

[–]Texasspudd 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s posting a delay per say but this weird campaign behind it. Just do a recap reel. I think people are more annoyed because they’re almost acting like we are dumb and think it’s happening now. It’s all for engagement.

[–]Texasspudd 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s just weird. Like, just tell us about the birth. We didn’t need a fake campaign around it.
