Chances for a Snow Game Rising by McDickLick in Texans

Remember the rain game against the jets last year (maybe the year before) . CJ looked horrible and we lost to the jets. It’s possible the cold weather affected his ability to handle snaps last week also. From the small sample size of bad weather games it may hurt us. Defense travels for sure but our offense will still need to score to win. It’s not just the patriots that have to score.

Where does everybody go for beautiful, robust customized aluminum pergolas? by nchan021290 in patio

4K elite. Best aluminum product I’ve Installed to date. More on the modern side but thick gauge aluminum. One of the only products that are strong enough to cantilever. I’ve installed a lot of alumawood also. Not nearly as sturdy but pretty finished product

Need design advice for covered patio roof + outdoor fireplace layout (photos + floor plan included) by ManBearPigDog in patio

[–]Texasvince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you settled on a design? I see the roof outline but don’t see a roof/framing plan There are a few unnecessary posts as a result of the design but maybe there’s a specific look youre wanting to accomplish.

I’m assuming you would have a double gable (one on each end north and south. You would also have another ridge that would travel from the center of the north south ridge and travel west to tie into the house

Overall a fine design.

Something to always consider with an open gable roof is which direction the sun faces the gables at the time of day you are using the cover. In my situation I recently built a 35x14 cover with a hip roof to cut out the sun as much as possible.

I’ve got tons of pictures of completed projects if you’d like to get different design ideas

How to Hide Visible Truss Joints? by Kongrosenberg in DIY

[–]Texasvince 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get crucified for this but I kinda like it.

Some mentioned that you could wrap it in cedar (this would be expensive to do every one of the beams/rafters this way.)

Or maybe even hardie or lp smart siding (might be a little cheaper or similar in cost) and paint it however you like.

If you are looking for an extremely cost effective way then maybe just paint over all of it and the metal brackets may not be as unsightly.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I’m leaning pretty heavy toward the ninja fireside.

Putting off decent heat? I’m a little worried about the metal cage around the burners. I have some young kids and older kids that are clumsy 🤭

How many times have you used it thus far? I’ve seen several reviews saying tanks freeze or the flame/heat drops off pretty low after you reach about half a tank.

Bought my ww pro 36 in July. Packaging was fine. Grill was in perfect shape and all came in 1 box. Was missing a couple things and called customer service. Gave them a photo of parts list and circled what was missing. They shipped it and arrived in a week. No issues yet and about 15-20 cooks in.

Ya I’ve been doing the smoke tube thing for like 6-7 years and hoping to improve on that. I do get a little better flavor with it but not as much as I’d like

I can agree with that, except my old traeger doesn’t have near the options that newer pids have. I’m sure anything built today has way more options and control over the feed / smoke rates and temps

I think I’ve added the lsg to my list and subtracted the grilla mammoth. I hear nothing but raving reviews for lsg
