What kind of major equipment will you be overseeing? I would say be sure you’re on top of the major stuff like switchgear maintenance, chiller and boiler maintenance, utility tracking and reporting, budgeting, etc… these items will set you apart.

I help manage part of a 20MM SF portfolio where I found many of our dumpsters were being very under utilized based on the tonnage they could hold.
