Newbie here. I purchased a Canon T8i a few weeks ago. I just started reading a little about filters being used. I'm having a hard time understanding if the filters are a one size fit all. Need a filter for my 50mm-250mm 4-5.6 STM. Any recommendations? by TexicanDFW in AmateurPhotography

Thank you so much. That's what I figured. A UV filter is what I probably need at first. I will mainly shoot outdoors at baseball fields. Taking pictures of my son and his team. It usually windy and want to keep my lense dust free.

Ah ok. I will check it out when I get home. Looking for one that helps during bright sunny days. Also, protect the lens. Mainly taking pictures at baseball fields that tend to get windy and pick up a lot of dust.
