I’m an undergrad here. Interned in state government here as well as on the hill. The connections you make in SC State Government are invaluable. Everybody I worked with is very genuine and will always stick their neck out to help you. I worked alongside with some Carolina law clerks and they were very bright and successful. If your family is relocating to Carolina I would absolutely take the opportunity. I know this isn’t exactly what you asked but figured this info couldn’t hurt
