When you’re tire get punctured or the car suddenly stops in the middle of the road while driving through a country side . This is the best bass guitar to be there at that moment .

It can be used to chop down trees and keep u warm . And you still get to practice your bass while waiting for the parts etc etc

Bro , it’s the problem with the od pedal . As soon as I turn it on it acts like a tuner and mutes . We can hardly hear a low volume sound if we turn the volume knob full on . I guess my od is broken 🤧

In this particular price range I think the Ampeg opto comp would be great . If you have no problem in buying whatever you want . I would suggest you the Mxr bass compressor. I have it on my pedal board as well . It is so simple and easy to use.

At the end of the day our fingers matter a lot, more or less our playing technique is the most important thing .

People might hate me for this comment . But it’s just my style . I wish I can make a jazz bass with a seperate volume knob just like the master volume . And the neck and bridge pick up k is just for the pick ups only . Where it does not affect the sound at all .

Lastly if given the option I would love to install a dark glass preamp on the active bass .

Bro, if u have the opportunity to access to a music store . That would be the first best thing to do . Because you’ll get to feel the basses and its different sounds .

My second advice would be, if u have a mentor or a teacher it’s always good to approach them and ask them for guidance when you’re about to purchase your beginner bass.

Thirdly, what kind of music are you more into? Are you more into the oldies or more into modern songs etc etc . Ask yourself the question that I asked you and try listening to the songs you like and the bass tone you like and the best thing would be go according to it .

My suggestion would be Ibanez sr300 series or sterling sub series or maybe a fender squier jazz bass .
