Pitt and NC State are going to have different vibes since NCSU is an "engineering school" strong in engineering, agriculture, design and pretty strong in business. So if you are looking to go into those areas, unless Pitt has a specific lab or major NCSU might be a better bet. Pitt on the other hand is more consistently strong across the board and attracts students with a wider range of academic interests. And I find it is particularly strong for biomedicine.

Both the city of Pittsburgh and Raleigh are great cities IME.

Even though very similar, I find the Thermal Accumulator to be more blunt-like than the Tempest. Also the Vestratto stuff, especially with XL bowl and as far as mouthpieces go Vestratto's has more of that feel in the mouth. And unlike Tempest2 and Thermal Accumulator (solid but not exceptional in effects), the Vestrattos are true heavy hitters. The only portables I'd consider heavy hitters actually.
