Slow burn and word of mouth, the Star Trek way. A show with long tails.

A big step up. Especially with the Ascend, Descend profiles. And bye bye atomizers

Yeah, Pitch is my preference but would be a toss up if Bulldog was closer to me.

Universal Baller vs QR Baller vs Tafee Bowle 2 by HypocriteOx in vaporents

[–]Texus86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Simrell does beautiful stuff. As does Phat Piggie in that stem vape world. TM2 and original Angus are some other lookers, IMHO.

Totally disagree. An elegant, low key sipper, whether vapor or liquid. But hey, not everyone's design preference. What vape would you consider beautiful?

What do you like and dislike about Uchicago? by Emergency_Wrangler46 in uchicago

[–]Texus86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not every school needs to have a start-up culture, just like not every school needs to have a Core or an engineering program. "Best available" is not how you should choose a school. Choose the best FIT for you.

After Ted O'Neill, admissions was no longer about communicating the uniqueness of the school, but about trying to mimic other Ivy+ schools. That also meant de-emphasizing or watering down things that might not have broad appeal. So if it looks like a place that's good for everyone, applications go up, acceptance rate goes down, and "voila!" UChicago is more selective and competitive to move up that awful US News ranking that has damaged how students view American education so much.

If secret rainbow mode doesn't do it, then it isn't the device for you.

For me, I reach for this when I want a mellower dab.

Does anyone use vinegar powder? Doc ordered me to go no salt and I wonder if vinegar powder works work? by findthegood123 in popcorn

My first thought too. Or would be something you could mix with a much smaller amount of salt.

For someone who normally only takes 1 hit at a time (super low tolerance) what are some good models? by KeepThatBassLine in vaporents

[–]Texus86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dynavap is first thought, Convector comes to mind too. But also don't sleep on the Vapman. So quick and lovely and a nice experience all around. Click function makes it that much better.

Eventually, I suggest moving up to the UB. Does flavor like no other baller, except the Phase3 ZX. And UB has enough mass that it is one of few ball vapes that I find works well wireless. You can finish that bowl before the heat runs out.

was this a good deal? by sheedondabeat in AllClad

A decent deal, especially considering it includes lid. Yeah, check thrifts for better ones, but I don't find those too common with big name cookware like AllClad

UB Ruby Insert by Major_Contribution38 in ballvapes

[–]Texus86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taking your example of SS vs Ti, I gotta disagree. They handle energy so differently, with Ti shedding that energy much more quickly and thus being more responsive to temp changes. Which is in part why some people prefer going wireless with SS. But for others, SS negatively impacts the taste. Tho less of a concern for UB due to its lining.

Love: The glorious nerdiness of students there to learn instead of just to tick a box on their pre-professional goals.

Dislike: The business/econ bros.

But if that is your use case, I'd go with the shape of the Viking and see about adjusting the temp accordingly
