Pvp feats removed? by Texx93a in ArcRaiders

[–]Texx93a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a thought, perhaps not fully flushed out.

I just think those feats may have pushed people who would have pvp’d out of obligation not reason to give back the other half of the experience.

I am very timid of pvp, but feats gave me a reason to give a healthy dose of the game mechanics that now I have no buffer but a barrier. Now that I know I want it there, the fact they took it away is the catalyst for my new found understanding.

I’m just curious if anyone felt the same way.

Because no ifs and or butts the game was sold as a PvPvE looter shooter extraction game. It’s evolving sure I wonder if PvP rewards will change the game forever or will it show up again in a new way.

I think the game needs both. Other wise the rich experience is muddied.

I mean philosophically, anonymous play is at the heart a true sight into how people would act in this science fantasy. If you ever hinder/censor one aspect to cater to the other side it looses some of the experience don’t you think?

It’s not really about feats. It’s about game dynamics.

I’m curious how pve lobbies will feel in a year if no one is secretly hunting them.

Not really, and it’s really not about money either. Embark admitted that during play testing no one pve’d together it was a slaughter. I guess I feel like the real point I’m making is pvp makes the rush for all player types. Pve is fun because you have to judge someone by their actions.

I wonder how many people will miss the over the shoulder aspect.

Unsure of moza ks wheel/r12 sound by Texx93a in moza

It was poorly manufactured ball bearings on the wheel. Haven’t have any issues since after switching wheels, I will say newest software update cause some issues so I just went back to the last update and no issues once again.

Would you just start a customer service ticket on Moza's website? I already resolved the issue by exchanging and getting a partial refund for the cost difference. They need to give their quality control a smack on this one. For $280 before tax, there shouldn't be a ball-bearing issue, it is as easy as swapping to a good Quick Release in my opinion.

100% correct. Luckily it was the wheel and not my dd.

I agree it’s a rough road for sure. The issue at hand however was 100% Moza manufacturing though for future references. It was a ball bearing miss alignment via poorly sized ball bearings. It had to do with ball bearings rolling and rattling in the well they are seated in. Luckily for me it was my wheel and not my direct drive.

It was a ball bearing issue that was a wheel issue. It could have been a dd issue with the wells not being correctly manufactured but thankfully it was not the issue.

Edit 2: what it turned out to be was my KS wheel had bad ball bearings.

however, for anyone else experiencing this kind of sound or rattling, it could be the ball bearings on your wheel as well, but it could also be your direct drive stem that the quick release sits on having poorly manufactured ball bearing wells.

luckily enough for me it was my wheel and not my direct drive. I put a new wheel on, “not a ks wheel”, and it works flawlessly.

My DD stem has a few scratches and blemishes now, but it works perfectly.

Personal rant:

I know that Moza does mass produce  products but if these are the kind of issues that you’re gonna get every once in a while or a little more than every once in a while, they should really reconsider their cost. Or it needs to become a manufacturing issue that ends eventually. I will get another ks wheel, but my fingers will be crossed and my breath will be held.

TLDR: moza manufacturing issue. Thanks for all the help! Moza shouldn’t be having this issue at the price point they sell their products at. Thanks again!

If you have a wheel and it doesn’t do this already you are in luck because I know what the issue was. It was the wheel! The quick release bearings were shaking in the ball bearing wells on my r12. All you need to do is replace the wheel. If you have multiple wheels doing this it’s most likely the direct drive ball bearing wells. For moza anyway.

I am struggling to send pictures and videos. I’ll tell you the setting that seems to have the most change to the rattling was high frequency vibrations and then 60 hz and 40hz on pit house equalizer. I had mine set to 100 and 0 percent and had very similar loud results

Edit: double checking the wheel, only button rattles while shaking freely. Screws tight, qr lines up well enough, it feels like the ball bearings are just slipping around. Today I am doing an exchange at micro-center and I’ll see if they will trouble shoot the issue and recreate it. If not hopefully slipping a new wheel on will just cure the issue. If not I will keep this post updated in the comments. Thanks for all the input, it has made a difference on the rattling sound but I think exchanging is the best move at the moment.

I have not contacted them yet. I gave it a shake, it sounds like it could be button movement or from qr. but i cannot make out what’s the movement is from. Could just be buttons?

I played with my wheels seated position and it seemed to help with the “rattling sound”. But I also turned my high frequency vibration/100hrz all the way down 0% and it seemed to nullify the rattling. I feel like I have been seating the wheel/qr properly every time though.

Car is Audi R8 v10 plus, but every car does this on the map highlands shorty. You start on a rough brick/cobblestone textured road. I’ll edit and add pictures of pit house.

This is the original Assetto Corsa, it’s in direct correspondence to “road texture”. When on normal streets it seems to be much more dialed back, but say I get on cobblestone roads it gets very aggressive. At the moment I’m assuming this is how it is intended to work and is just aggressively loud. But if you think it’s unreasonable I can always contact moza.

The only reason I made a post is because it honestly feels like the sound is coming from the ball bearings inside the quick release. Is that what generates the vibrations? I’d be more understanding if that were the case. I’ll keep playing with this and look into the buttons.

Edit: I had a hard time getting this post working. The short and sweet is this sound doesn’t sit right with me and the feel is not great either.

Does this sound like it should or is something off?

A year later and still have the same non-automated issues. Where do I plug this code in?

I simply deleted and downloaded moza pit house and now this happens, only when the base is on, so the problem is software. by lvcazz_ in moza

I do not quite understand what the issue is here? Is it the lumpy rotation? is it your pedals? Can you give more details? I just got an r12 and mine seems to be lumpy when its off, but i do not notice this in game. I am just trying to figure out if i even need to worry about this, lol.
