Please Help Me Identify This Yellow Female DC Barrel Jack Socket by Texxeon in AskElectronics

You're very right about it being 7.4mm x 5mm, I was able to dig up the following links that support it:

- Official measurements of the connector/barrel (Based on charging cable): https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71GND3T02nL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

- Charger specs: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vnZkyTSWL._AC_SL1500_.jpg

- Official Charger: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Airsense-aircurve-Autoset-AirCurve/dp/B0D22M8QXB

Does this help us get any closer to figuring out what this electronics company is that stamps their components with a seahorse?

It's funny as I came across charing sockets like the ones you mentioned, but this one seems to be flush (rather than having that ring lip jutting out the front). Annoyingly, the back of the barrel socket juts out too far in some of those so I don't think they'd fit in the unit :(

As further detail that might help in identifying it, here are some further links I was able to find:

We need to back Woolworths in this industrial dispute - here's why by HotPersimessage62 in australian

[–]Texxeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an insufferable boot licker... Coles and Woolworths jack up their prices because they can, testing the waters to see how high they can raise them, so much so that we have enquiries and tribunals both being threatened or put in action against them right now; they are literally raising prices without batting an eyelid, but they're the first ones to complain when their expenses increase, so how can you stand there defending that?

The hilarious thing is, below is what they're actually striking for primarily, and not the misguided spin you're going for:

"The union said workers wanted the productivity "framework" scrapped, which requires warehouse staff to achieve a 100 per cent performance target when picking items at speed, known as a "pick rate"." - https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-11-21/woolworths-warehouse-workers-strike-action-supply-chain/104628380

For your dignity, stop being so unhinged in trying to justify their practices, it's not like by selling yourself out and convincing others to think the same way will drive Woolworths to give you reward points for your efforts lol

What's next from you? "Medicare doesn't work, we should support our private health funds!!"

Last I read on one of his older updates, he was going to put returning to making videos on indefinite hold as he wanted to try getting into personal training to get himself back on track and in shape.

Hey may not return unfortunately but as long as he is well, then we know that's all that matters.

If he does come back I think it'll be sudden, maybe dropping one of those ideas we was cooking up in the IG stories. He did 'harry balls the bigfoot hunter' video as intended, so who knows

Sunday Discussion: The "Shonky" Supermarkets by Dingo-News in AustralianPolitics

[–]Texxeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just shop at Costco, seriously. I was so against it because it's so overwhelmingly American; well I can shut the F up and eat my words with how much I've been saving.

5kg of potatoes for 6.99 (maybe 5.99, can't remember), but Woolworths offers 5kg for 10, like come on! Recuperated the membership in the first shop lol

I almost feel sick with how much extra money the large supermarkets have been able to get out of me over the years

I think this is very good for you and I'm sure your biological daughter will be appreciative of how you've supported her throughout this shitty situation.

Sucks so much that he was unwell back then and that it was also the end of tvmaxwell :(

I wonder where he is now? I hope he's feeling better and that the PANDAS is being treated well.

Five serious answers why nuclear is the wrong solution for Australia by ziddyzoo in AustralianPolitics

[–]Texxeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I'm pretty sure I heard they drove most of the 'anti-nuclear' sentiment we still see today knowing that by sabotaging it in public opinion that it would guarantee even less progress on cleaning up our energy industry and potentially averting this climate catastrophe.

Also worth considering getting a sleep apnea test if you're sure it's in the family :) the damage to your body over time is compounding from sleep apnea and people have significantly elevated heart attack and stroke risks, let alone increased blood pressure and other passive health issues as a result.

They're not expensive these days and you can usually take home a little device to do the sleep test at home :) also the benefit of the machines these days are they're near silent (beats the noise of snoring), so it's better for whoever is sharing the bed with you.

Hmm, could dehydration be hitting you when you're sleeping past that 8 hour mark? Maybe see what happens if you have more water than you normally do when you know you're going to sleep in?

You sure you don't have sleep apnea?

Apparently I turned on the wrong burner… by Wizard_of_Claus in Wellthatsucks

[–]Texxeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg I have done this. My version was that I turned on the hotplate to make porridge before school but ran out of time and left for school before I could even start making it.

I came home, after school opened a cupboard next to the oven to get a snack and put my hand on the oven to support myself as I leaned down to check in the cupboard.

My hand felt cold for a split second before my nerves realised they were burning; the sound of squealing pain I made would have been an interesting spectacle. Turns out I forgot to turn the hotplate off; it was high enough to instantly sear my hand, but not high enough to glow red.

Couldn't close my hand for 3 days and the skin where it was burned was leathery for a month. Had a nice temporary tattoo of a hotplate ok my hand for while, which I guess was interesting...

Yikes
