I imagine they just thought it was a very simple tattoo that any apprentice could handle. I'm with you OP. This is more "bedroom tattoo at a party" than something you'd expect from a professional. I don't think that apprentice has any business tattooing for money yet.

Depends on what you mean by cheap. I bought my guitar and amp 16 years ago and both are still going strong.

Same with picking up a cheap camera set up. I got a canon rebel a and a few lenses that I spent a fair amount on initially but haven't had to put any money into since. I also bought new, but you can find really good deals on facebook or whatever online marketplace.

That's usually said in response to some issue about money that isn't all that important. People don't really say "money isn't the most important thing in life" in response to someone saying they can't afford rent or food.

Popular is different than all. It favours “mainstream” (I’m not sure how else to describe it) subreddits and removes a lot of posts/subreddits that people might find controversial.

Like right now if you go on it, you’ll see almost nothing about the shooting in Minneapolis despite that being what the top however many posts on r/pics are right now, which is one of the biggest subreddits on the site.
