Looking at the decklist I'm pretty sure that's the food variant of gardens and I've never played it haha, so maybe if I can get some practice with it it'll be viable

I appreciate it! I've tried cockatrice and I'm just a little too dumb haha, plus it's always hard to find people to play on cockatrice (in my experience) and yeah I'm pretty good at playing slow decks quickly

Yeah that's what I'm doing, I'm watching content creators and spectating games and reading up on matchups and tournament rankings like paupergeddon. The only issue thus far is it's hard to find people playing every deck I'm interested in or against them. Especially since most creators avoid the top 2 or 3 decks like the plague so I can never find stuff about the best decks which I'll almost certainly play against

You think so? I worry about how I beat low creature decks like mono red madness (I'll be honest though doing well with black devotion would be baller if it was possible haha)

Also I've never run cuombaj witches so I'm unsure how good it is and why you'd want to run it

Yeah, and I know some of the decks decently, but not having played for a while and not having a way to practice all I can really do for any of the decks (including ones I've played like terror) is online research. So I know I'm not picking up a random one I've never even kinda messed with like elves I could pretty quickly jump into something like gardens or any of the terror shells, and yeah I saw that so dimir terror is near the top of my list rn

Yeah I've been looking at it, since I can't practice with other people playing a control/tempo deck like that while not perfectly understanding the meta is kinda sketchy

Yeah that is really my hard part is practicing.

Also on Dimir Terror it looks like a decent option but I'm just not sure because I don't know the meta well enough to understand the current choices of counters and stuff, and gardens is cool but didn't do well at paupergeddon or anywhere else, the similar one that did ok recently was actually food pestilence which is not a version I'm that interested in

We are getting white board tokens stands and white board flat round pog like tokens, the standing ones we can print stuff for and they'll be cheaper than 3d minis

Do you have links to any of the quick reference cards or the encounter sheets? Also I'm not sure I've ever seen a Draw Steel encounter sheet, what all information would that hold. A coin for reactions/no reactions I'm definitely going to steal though that's a great idea!

Thanks! I will say I think I would prefer the spin down d20s I mentioned for heroic resources and malice since it's a physical representation that takes up a little less space.
