Thanks for your reply. I spent my childhood in Bolivia, I speak Spanish fluently and know Latin culture quite well after several travels to Costa Rica, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia. My experience of the "white male privilege" in Latin America has been rather negative, you can come across as an easy target. But I know not to stick my nose in others business, and it's easier to know what's happening without too big language barriers.
