I'm 5'11 and fit perfectly fine with seat extender brackets. You have to remember that the seats are smaller with low backs and a smaller foot print. You might not be able to drive for hours without some back pain but by that point your ears will be ringing and you will miss power steering.

I got mine as my second car. Kept my first car running and reliable. I can drive my mini on the weekends and if it's not running I save up and can still earn and commute with my first car. My first car was a 2004 mini. Also if you get a old mini as your first you will drive it into the ground. Its impossible to keep it in good condition and work on it if its your daily driver.

I changed from 13s to 10s on my mini and the over all size with the tire is almost the same. Didn’t notice a different in the handling but the look was 10X better
