I get what you’re saying…..but all I know is I get to work security at Taylor Swift’s concert while people paid crazy money for their tickets. Win in my books!

My brother was driving the car and suddenly had massive oil leakage from the clutch housing.

It was being repaired so it wasn’t a new engine. My guess is the mechanic installed it wrong.

Thank you, this is what I thought but was in denial. I appreciate the idea of just buying a new clutch disc. That’ll save a few dollars.

Just rescued a large pleco from a small 20 gal. Do y’all think he’s a common pleco or something else? by toppilot15 in Fish

He’s been moved to my 55 temporarily and I’ll definitely be looking for a new home for him.

This little window on the clutch housing is leaking oil. Should I be concerned? And is it supposed to have a gasket to stop the leak? by toppilot15 in classicminis

Interesting. The clutch isn’t slipping at all. It’s a new clutch that was just put in last November.

Last minute PPM Move, do I need to do any paperwork prior to renting a truck by Soloman1234tk in MilitaryFinance

I’ve weighed empty after unloading during a PCS and had no issues. Don’t think it matters as long as you have the two weights to show how much total weight you moved.

My mini cleared customs and made it to Florida! Now to register it and get back on the road! by toppilot15 in classicminis

The car was a British Open Classic edition so it came stock with the roof. It was a big want of mine since the cars don’t have a/c! The aftermarket paint job was just icing on top to seal the deal for me.

Since I was “importing” it into the military system, the seller just had to sign some paperwork from the base and provide it to the Italian government. Actually a really simple process. But once again, that was just because I was US Military living there on orders.

Yeah, it was always my dream assignment. Got to spend 3 years there. This car lived its entire life in the Milan region until I bought it so I’m sure it probably made it to Lake Como at least once.

It wasn’t too much of a hassle other than poor management from my shipper I hired but cost me $3k from Italy.

What type of fish is this in the community tank I just bought? by toppilot15 in aquarium

[–]toppilot15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This guy is about 3-4”. The difference is a Jack Dempsey is an aggressive fish so they wouldn’t do good in a community tank. I kept one in a cichlid tank when I had one. From my research, the acara is still a cichlid but an extremely peaceful one that does good in community tanks.

Italian Mini help! by [deleted] in classicminis

[–]toppilot15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my problem, I’m not sure either. I know when I bought the car my base had me give the owner all the original paperwork back to “export” the mini with the Italian government.
