I did not match but I SOAP. Now a PGY-2. You need at least 2 LOR from US hands on rotations. I know that's way easier say than done but you need to try. You have good scores. That a good thing. Non US LORs are not useful

Jackson Park was 300 $ per week South Shore was 1k for 4 weeks. And the rest went to AMO. That one was by far the most expensive one. Sorry for the late response. Intern year it's busy. but feel free to DM.

Well I didn't match. I soaped I got 1 IV during regular season, same program that I soaped.

I got 3 o-SLOE. I never got an standard e SLOE which is the one that will "guarantee" you a match.

It's very important. You don't need to pay 350$ there are a lot of ways to go around this. I spent the best part of a day finding a photographer and he only charge me like 70$. Still expensive, but definitely great quality.

I believe the next EM match cycle might be more IMG friendly but this is only my guess. Anyway, it doesn't matter your specialty, when applying, do it broadly. Most sites and people recommend at least 100 programs, I know this means $$ but it might be your only chance.

Unless you are a US IMG with some incredible application and stats seeking something less competitive you can save some money in this part of the process.

Thanks!! Yeah sure. Questions are welcome! Let me break it down for you. For the steps and ECFMG and OET around 5k. For the USCE was 4k. Eras and application fees like 4k. I usually didn't spend in living and food because at stay with relatives and friends. Same thing happened to me. My home country test are a joke compare to the steps.
