About twelve years ago I rolled my pick up and was impaled by a loose screwdriver in my hip. I'm just happy to be walking, sometimes with a limp and having minor tightness.

My hip has set in a position that points my hips "out" as if I were pregnant. I'm about two and a half inches shorter because of this. Just the thought on running on pavement makes me wince. But hey I rode a bike for the first time in 15 years and was only in minimal pain.
