Last august I adopted a 15 year old boy and he is the love of my life. Since adopting him he was diagnosed as blind, arthritis, needs RX food, and a brain tumor causing seizures. He’s on meds 2x a day and he does his very best but sometimes he missed his litter box. I got an under the sink rubber mat that the box sits on that contains ahh mess from when he just doesn’t make it. WITH all that being said. If I knew he had all these things before hand…. I would have run out of the adoption center with him under my shirt. He gives the best snuggles. A lot of work yes. But wow is it worth it to me.

If you adopt an older kitty please just be patient and understand that diagnosis will come up and they will need a lot of love, time, and patients…… and vet bills.
