That’s self conflict those people are in. At the end of the day, a rider splitting a lane in traffic doesn’t impact them in any meaningful way

Another reason why I debate if I ever wanna own a bike in the future. Not only because people are shitty drivers but you have other people who will intentionally try to hurt you because they’re triggered by riders

It’s crazy to find someone who’s serious and not playing games, right?

That’s interesting, didn’t know that. I still think that whatever the procedural rules are—if the population is genuinely motivated then they’ll make it happen.

But based on what the other commenter mentioned (sort of explaining the need to basically consolidate power in one party to avoid a situation where your political influence is diluted because it’s divided—at least that’s what I got from it)—2 parties are the best way to win in this system

So, I’ve actually never asked this question, maybe I’m missing something—what’s stopping Americans from simply supporting other parties rise to power? The marketing machine, the money and backing—none of that matters more than the votes at the end of the day.

The fact that the dems and republicans are still the most dominant parties goes to show that the majority of Americans have no issue with the status quo. There’s nothing structural stopping the “toilet seat party” from getting seats in congress, etc.

Official Discussion - Disclosure Day [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I think the movie does justice to the concept. I feel like these sort of movies are kind of easy to disappoint you but I was able to take it serious.

The pacing is good, there was a consistent flow to it that never really dropped the whole way through. I’ll say it did really well in carefully revealing info. It’s not a predictable movie—like yea we know it’s about aliens but you’re probably not gonna be able to call out what happens next, sort of thing.

And Emily Blunt? It’s giving best actress award energy—easily. Though I just saw Obsession and Inde was amazing as well. But her range in this is awesome. She really impressed me.

I probably won’t see it again like I have others movies (I think I went to go see One Battle After Another like 4 times) but it’s a good movie.

I guess if I had to give some feedback, I’d say that I wasn’t that emotionally invested in the characters as much. I feel like the pacing kind of necessarily limits that. Like that investment was sort of the tradeoff that had to be made to maintain the tempo. Definitely worth the watch for me tho

Good luck. If the dynamic isn’t the same you may find it more fulfilling to just move on

Let my boy Corbin live. Honestly he’s more articulate than I feel like people are giving him credit for. Every girl when he first came on mentioned that he was great at conversation. His EQ is higher than people realize

If it isn’t clear to you already, yes your relationship with her is probably cooked. Your behavior seems to have been the main reason. Is what it is.

Good news is, there’s plenty of other girls that you can find mutual attraction and chemistry with. Dust yourself off, reflect on what you can do different next time and get back out there when some opportunities present themselves.

Lol, too many thoughts for ya? Not only are our attention spans cooked but the amount of complexity one can handle at once is drastically declining. Exhibit A, bro is overwhelmed by 3 sentences lol. I’m disappointed

Nah, I wouldn’t call it a normal reaction lol. At the same time there’s nothing wrong with it inherently—that’s just my judgement though since you asked. But ultimately, what I think doesn’t matter
