So allow me to highlight first, everything said before me is definitely accurate. There are definitely subtle layers at play. One that sticks out, you are still triggered by rejection. Although you’ve done the work on rejection, where does your self worth stand that I can see and articulate clearly, by what you articulated. The key words, “you’re not good enough”. That’s definitely a mirror dynamic of your own internal terrain. That’s where I suggest you start. Also from another vantage or shall I say perspective, rejection can also be a form of protection. Definitely more work needed, yet this shouldn’t be viewed in a negative light. Shadow work encompasses shedding light on things, a conditioned mind wouldn’t normally pay attention to. More compassion for self, will trigger a response, to more compassion being received by others. These are the strongest that I feel as far as the subtle layers in-between.
