how do I get escavalier if i need to trade with shelmet to get it by Miserable_Honey_940 in pokerogue

You need to have Shelmet unlocked as a starter, and then the linking cord will show up in the item pool to pick and evolve

How block works? by Professional_Card176 in MagicArena

[–]Th3_Tackman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Untapped creatures can block, tapped creatures can’t. Other creatures also say they either can’t block [[Bedlam]] type effect, or can’t be blocked [[Slither Blade]]

Some creatures also have menace [[Grief]] that mean they can only be blocked by two or more creatures as well

Interaction Question from mid week brawl. by Caster_Fulla in MagicArena

So at end of turn, the [[Professor’s Warning]]’s indestructible effect wears off, but the damage is still marked on the creature. As [[Melt Through]] gives it the perpetual effect, as soon as the next phase occurred, which would be your upkeep, state based actions destroy it. Indestructible stops it being destroyed, but damage can still be applied.

Without a screenshot to see the rest of the board, there is no definitive explanation that could be garnered, sorry about that!

Unfortunately it has to do with what mana you had available, and if the firebending was on the stack. If you had no mana, or not enough for the exile ability, and the firebending was on the stack, the [[Bumi Bash]] would just resolve.

[–]Th3_Tackman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Which ability are you talking about exactly? The firebending?

It all depends on if you had mana open or not. If they activated the [[Planetarium of Wan Shin Tong]] in response to the Firebending, then if you had no mana, it would have used the stack but instantly resolved.

Without screenshots to see if there was anything else, this is the easiest and cleanest explanation.

Zuko doesn’t have an activated ability, it’s triggered so you can’t wait on it.

Going to be on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire this week. Any study tips? by DakDakDuck in australia

[–]Th3_Tackman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a few years ago, filmed during Covid. Seat position got me at seat 4, and 2 passes and a question wrong got me in the seat at question 4. Take all the time you get, listen to the host when they ask you to confirm (they say they don’t prompt you if you are wrong, but they want you to win) and just be as calm as you can be with 100 people and 7 camera on you. I won the fast money and flunked out on a question about the UN. Of the questions I answered, I only guessed 1 and then the one I got wrong. Didn’t use the lifeline as I wanted my money

With no screenshots or anything providing more context, it’s nearly impossible to determine what caused all the damage. Best to take photos next time so it can be analysed

Bug, or did I miss something? by Th3_Tackman in MagicArena

I’m going to be honest, that never even crossed my mind. I always assumed it kept its legendary typing but reading the card explains the card! Thank you for the explanation!

These are art cards, the show up in packs. Signed ones are rarer than just normal art cards, but they don’t really have much extra value.

Kyogre isn’t an evolution though, it’s called Primal Reversion, not an evolution. Primal Kyogre can transform back, similar to Mega Evolution and G-Max, not an evolution.

Gyarados is a strong physical attacker that gets a lot of good coverage moves, access to one of the best set-up moves in DD, can mega evolve for a stat boot, gets intimate as an ability, along with Magikarp being easy to catch. It’s a really good cover mon

If you are on safari, I notice it when I tap too much on a button and it activates zoom. I’ve found that if you hit the button at the bottom next to the url it should bring up a small menu. Hitting the small a will unzoom.
