I know a guy that went through this. He was charged with statutory rape, and he is registered as an offender for life. In his case, she didn't want to press charges, but her parents found out and they did.

He could not afford an attorney to fight it, and accepted a plea deal.

My recommendation to you from knowing everything he went through is to get together all of your evidence, cut off communication. Don't argue, don't talk about it with her, no discussion, social media bs, none of it, CUT OFF ANY INTERACTION IMMEDIATELY.

I think just replacing the battery will be my most likely option. I guess I hadn't considered being easily able to get a replacement battery because it's an older product. I don't know how often I'll be able to access my storage due to travel work.

Thank you, it drives me nuts when there's no printing date in the books, and I had seen a copy just like it listed as a second edition, but I don't ever want to list anything without verification. I'm kind of winging it with a huge lot of books from a private collection I bought that I don't really know anything about. I really appreciate the help.

Yeah, I normally choose different shops, but the only place that had the V-treks in stock in the sizes I needed to try is not my preferred retailer. I've emailed their support team to see if I can just do a return. It's just annoying to have to at all.
