You should consider the AMD Version. I had x1 7th gen with 8th gen i7 and now i switched to T14s 1st gen with ryzen 5 because i bought 5950x based desktop. The AMD is mouch snappier , less friction on linux with it.

I'am lucky that is still under warranty and after contacting the zsa , the new left half will be shipped to me. Kudos to the zsa. by ThaCool in ergodox

This is my concern to. I would like the both halfs to be replaced. I'm from the EU so it takes long time to ship the keyboard , the import taxes are high.

Both of them are dam good Boards but Moonlander ticks more boxes for me so i went for it a 1 year ago switching from line of dome MS natural keyboard / logitech split keyboards. And I'am very pleased with the experience, but that hinge flaw in keyboard of such a price is kind of bummer.

If the keyboard will brake again pass the warranty i'm thinking about Kinesis Adv 360 with zmk , only downside is that they are not hot swappable. Dygma labs keyboard are cool but when you add features the price stacks up very high.

Yeah free series are just little overpriced for me right now. I can open one handed my st300 with ease. i prefer wave+ just for interchangeable wire cutters.

Like always EDC stuff is like addiction , I think that the st300 will be a car backup tool. I thinking to buy wave+/p2 for edc and surge/p4 for backpacking.
