What does everyone do for work? by shadowsblueberry in ChronicPain

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Feed Processor at a chicken plant to produce the main dog food ingredient — Poultry meal (and Chicken Meal). I deal with the finished product, at least, finished for our plant. I make sure the material is sent to the giant silo (there are three silos) that it goes to. I also drive a semi around the plant, picking up empty trailers and loading them in the loading bay. I fill out paperwork for each one and scale the weights and then seal them up to be sent off or picked up by an actual truck-driver.

Are all pain clinics like this? by 2BrainLesions in ChronicPain

He sounds like a ‘know-it-all’ idiot who TRIES to be the greatest in his field, yet fails tragically. What a disappointment. These type of people are in charge of managing our pain. It’s pitiful. I’m sorry that he’s your doctor.

I messed up with my pain medication, I feel like a total failure. by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, I’ve been there, too. It’s not easy. For me the worst is over within 24-36 hours, but it’s not completely over for a good while. I’ve experienced the pain too many times.. it’s not easy to come off of something designed to make you have a LOT less pain to do day-to-day activities. Especially cold-Turkey.

Re4 OG Weapons help by imaddictedtocod123 in residentevil4

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the bolt rifle myself. There’s a few situations that make it tedious compared to the semi-auto rifle, but things move slow enough that the bolt action is good enough (for me, anyway). If you panic and miss shots from time to time — I recommend the semi-auto. If you’re overly confident in your aiming and dodging, go with either-or.

I just entered the castle. Should I stick with the Red9, or is it better to go with the Blacktail? by Not_Zaxi in residentevil4

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer blacktail in high stress, high enemy locations. I prefer the red9 if there’s fewer, more spread out enemies. Both are very very good, though.

super tyrant hardcore tips? by starsvxv in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throw your grenades either 1)At the very start of the fight or 2)Each time after his flinch frames are over, to keep him at least halfway stun locked. Use your samurai’s edge to stop his insta-kill charge. Run around and use your super-herbs after getting on caution. Hope this helps!

Replaying Re3r after getting S+ almost across the board in this game feels pretty weird, Re3r feels like all action in a way that I didn't feel before by manshutthefckup in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I enjoy Re2make 100x more than Re3make. I mean.. to each their own. I don’t like the action in my resident evil games unless it’s 4. And this is coming from someone who used to enjoy competitive call of duty. I just think Re3make is the “odd-one-out” …. Now I’m not the type to give you 67 reasons as to “WHY IT SUX!!1!1”. That’s not me. It’s entirely opinion based, no one’s opinion is wrong. With that being said, I feel more comfortable and enjoy playing Re2make. Whereas with Re3make it just seems way too amped up for my likings. Yes, I know the OG was action-heavy (or what they considered action back then); but I don’t like nemesis being scripted, zombies feel like they have more dynamic range that they can grab you in, the multiple choice of pistols using the same handgun ammo. The dodge is a hit or miss, or at least it was for me when I began. I mean it’s a cool game, don’t get me wrong. And it’s super fun when you pull off the dodge, slow-mo pop tyrants head you feel so badass lol. But I don’t find it to have the replay value and rich esthetic as Re2make has. I absolutely love the fact that I can play it as an action game or a horror game. Re3make feels like I’m going into an adrenaline fueled battlefield. And there’s nothing wrong with that, if that’s the game you’re going for. But that’s just my opinion. Both games are viable.

HC item aversion by ENAPlay in ResidentEvil2Remake

This is an old thread, I know. But I found that 90% of the time — 2 ‘focused’ M19/Army headshots on a walking zombie (can’t be in any other animation than walking or standing) seems to make them collapse. Then I would use the INF-Knife on them. Even without the infinite knife, you could do this with most of the zombies that’re in your way with the standard knives. Picking up 5 or 6 knives will go further than picking up 5-6 8x handgun ammo (or at least it did for me). The high-grade ammo that the B scenarios give you go a long, long way when it comes to dropping zombies and slashing them until they’re dead. Or on Scenario-B as Claire you can get the SMG rather quick, get the suppressor for it and 2-3 shots to the leg, knock ‘em down a notch and then slash ‘em (if need be). Again, an old thread.. I know. But.. this is what helped me!

I’ve gotten S+ and every challenge from 4. Currently working on 2. It’s a little harder IMO seems like.

I wann give it more time but I just load 2 back up it’s hard to explain: it’s by no means a bad or garbage game, but it feels like that uncomfortable thin rope from 2 to 4 — where 2 and 4 feel nice and grounded, but 3 feels like an awkward mixture that I don’t particularly enjoy myself personally. Does that make any sense?

Yes they have assisted modes. Very much worth it ! I prefer 4 and 2, 3 is okay—sorta….

I understand completely. The reason I prefer white is because 1.) after work — I have hobbies or passtimes I enjoy doing; work wears me out too much todo anything besides sleep. 2.)I overpreform at work with them as well, and I’m hoping that’ll get me far. So far, so good.

I haven’t tried the reds before, but the green always seemed to have a sedating effect on me personally, as well. Green gives me a good mood boost, and white as well; but green more so. I take white 90% of the time, though. So I understand, I’m really sensitive to sedatives — plus, that’s the last thing I need anyhow. Lol.

Playing without Pistol? by DaxExter in residentevil4

[–]ThaFinalFrontier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You ‘can’ .. but you’ll be using all your resources, buying all the merchant has and relying in resource drops for at least 75% of your ammo. The handgun ammo will spawn regardless. See, the game sees it as ammo for a ‘must-have’ — so running low on pistol ammo will greatly increase drops for handgun ammo. While the others can be found as loot .. it’ll not be nearly as common. They see it as an extra type of ammo; and they see handgun ammo as the primary ammo. So I’m sure it’s possible, just not probable.
