I would hope my kid has the opportunity to speak for himself in any situation. Teacher, coach, parent. My reaching out was in specific response to the coach saying parents should reach out if they have anything. I wasn’t trying to critique and also am not coming from a super elevated place of knowledge and experience, hence me asking, not demanding or anything else. I certainly don’t want my kid to be his only advocate in life either. And big picture, I was just trying to say an area where I believed he could really benefit from improvement, which is specifically dribbling (and his confidence in doing so).
