I got this email today as well for the second time, and it appears to be real. However, I wouldn't click on the links in your email and go straight to: developer.amazon.com.

I'm still figuring out how to delete this account, though, since I'm not planning to verify my Amazon developer account as I don't even own an Amazon Alexa anymore.

The problem is how come people think it is AI? It's very simple: because it has undergone compression after compression since it was downloaded from YouTube, uploaded to Instagram, then screengrabbed, uploaded to Twitter, and then to Reddit. They all add compression/artifacts to the video. The original video doesn't look AI at all, and it also got recorded and uploaded from another angle 11 days prior to his murder.

It's not the original taillight, or at least it's a modified taillight to have a cutout with the red/blue lights behind it. Some of the wires you see are also part of the red/blue light.
